FALCON provides the highest quality personal and professional development opportunities to teaching dedicated faculty, administrators, and staff members from diverse institutions of higher education around the world through networking, guest speakers, and expert panel discussions.
As such, FALCON is open to any educators teaching in higher education both nationally and internationally.
Historical, FACET has collaborated with the AAC&U's initiative Liberal Education and America's Promise (LEAP) Indiana to present the conference. FALCON allowed for collaborations across Indiana universities and colleges as well as opportunities for dedicated educators to discuss current innovations and challenges in higher education. This included many adjunct and part-time faculty to develop relationships beyond their department and institution and grow as talented educators.
Now, FACET wants FALCON to evolve to become more inclusive and create a space for all educators in higher education that are dedicated to best teaching practices, student success, and dissemination of scholarly work in teaching.
