As FACET maintains several listservs, we thought we would share information about our current listserv strategy.
Each FACET member has access to three FACET listservs:
- facetnews-l: The facet news listserv is used monthly by the FACET office to share a news digest and official announcements. All FACET members are added to this listserv to keep up-to-date on what is happening with FACET. Non-FACET members interested in FACET news may also be subscribed to this list. To access your preferences regarding facetnews-l, go to list.iu.edu.
- facet-te-l: This listserv is for open discussion of teaching and learning related issues, and campus events. Many members find this list useful for sharing ideas and staying in contact with FACET colleagues; this listserv can result in the receipt of many messages when discussions are interesting or controversial. Any FACET member may contact the FACET office to be added to this list. Any current facet-te-l list member can easily unsubscribe on his or her own. To access your preferences for facet-te-l, go to list.indiana.edu.
- Campus facet listservs: Each campus has a facet listserv used by the campus liaison to communicate important campus events related to FACET. Your campus’s membership can set parameters about how the list is used--the campus lists can be set up for open discussion or announcements. Contact your campus liaisons for more information.
- Each campus’s FACET list is on its campus list site: For example, IU Bloomington’s list is on list.indiana.edu.
If you have any questions please contact the FACET Office.
