It's time to register for FALCON 2018! The theme this year is: Successful Strategies for Student Engagement: Sometimes it’s the little things
FALCON will take place at the Sheraton Indianapolis City Centre on November 9-10. Friday evening will kickoff with a tech expo and networking. Following dinner, Ange Cooksey, Senior Lecturer of Humanities and Coordinator of the Philosophy Program at Indiana University East, will lead attendees in a session titled “High Tech to Low Tech to No tech at all: A User’s Guide to making Small Things Happen in Class.”
Gwynn Mettetal, IU South Bend, Chancellor’s Professor of Psychology and Education and founding Director of the University Center for Excellence in Teaching, will give the Robin Hass-Birky Keynote. Mettetal will speak on topics of “Creating a Positive Classroom Climate” and “Active Learning and High Impact Practices.”
