Kristen Snoddy (IUK), Joan Kaiser (IUK), Stephanie Medley-Rath (IUK), Carol Hostetter (IUB), Paige Land (IUB), Daisy Lovelace (IUB), Dawn Wisher (IUB), and Tin-Chun Lin (IUN) received FACET/Mack Center SoTL Travel Grants for presentations taking place fall 2017.

Kristen Snoddy and Joan Kaiser will present "Making Connections: Everyone Has a Story” at the 22nd Annual National Learning Communities Conference (NLCC) in Chicago, Illinois.

Stephanie Medley-Rath presented “Seeing Sociology: An Analysis of What Concepts Introductory Sociology Students Can Apply Using Photography” at the American Sociological Association in Montreal, Canada.

Carol Hostetter will present "How Can We Better Foster the Application and Pursuit of SoTL?" at the ISSOTL17 conference in Calgary, Alberta, Canada

Paige Land, Daisy Lovelace, and Dawn Wisher will present “Gamification to Reinforce Oral Communication Skills: Examples from Flipped Business Communication Classrooms”as a Group Panel at the 82nd Annual International Conference in Dun Laoghaire, Dublin, Ireland.

Tin-Chun Lin will present"Does the Timing of Unannounced Quizzes Influence Student Behavior in Effort Investment and Learning Output?"at the Southern Economic Association Conference in New Orleans, Louisiana.
