Dr. Kevin Clark, a professor of Learning Technologies and the Founding Director of the Center for Digital Media Innovation and Diversity at George Mason University, will give the Hass-Birky Keynote. Dr. Clark's research focuses on the role of interactive and digital media in education, broadening participation in STEM, and issues of diversity in children’s media.
Friday's events kick off with a tech expo and networking session. Following dinner, Robin Morgan, former FACET Director, Director of the Instititute for Learning and Teaching Excellence at IUS, and the 2017 recipient of the President's Award for Excellence in Teaching and Learning Technologies, will lead attendees in a Friday evening Teaching with Tech Survivor event.
