The Journal of the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning released its December issue with articles addressing the value of encouraging failure as a learning strategy, residential learning communities as a platform for high-impact educationall practices aimed at at-risk student success, the transfer of peer review writing skills to an authentic professional setting, instructor perceptions of plagiarism due to student misunderstanding, student decisions to withdraw from a course, Shulman's Table of Learning applied to health science programs, and support needed to help faculty members integrate content from disciplines outside their expertise.
