Jon Becker served as a high school math teacher for 8 years in the Gary School Corporation before moving on to Indiana University Northwest, where he has taught in the Department of Mathematics and Actuarial Science for the past 18 years.

Since 2000, he has been among IU Northwest’s most respected and decorated teachers, having won 2 awards for campus service and 8 awards for excellence in teaching. Most recently, he has been awarded the Indiana University President’s Award for Distinguished Teaching.

Jon has a passion to serve professional organizations, high school and college students and faculty, family groups, and men’s groups.
