FACET’s 2016 Annual Retreat, ”Discovering the Learner Within,” is being held on May 20-22 at the Sheraton Indianapolis City Centre. FACET invites all faculty to its Saturday events and sessions. Please register by May 15. 

The weekend includes a meet and greet of the inductees, dinner and cash bar, followed by the induction ceremony for new members.

Saturday sessions open to ALL faculty begin with the Eileen Bender Memorial Lecture, followed by concurrent sessions throughout the day and a lunchtime talk by James Wimbush, VP for Diversity, Equity and Multicultural Affairs, Dean of the IU Graduate School, and Pressor of Business Administration. The P.A. Mack Lecture by Angie McNelis will wrap up the day’s events, with dinner and evening on your own. A variety of activities and dining options will be made available at the registration table.

Sunday will begin with a choice of teaching and learning workshops. All will promise engaging, hands-on activities for the teacher/learner within us. The retreat will end at noon with time for giveaways and takeaways.
