Karissa Rector joined Indiana University in 2018 as administrative assistant for OEVPUAA and program coordinator for FACET. In 2021, she transitioned to assistant program manager for FACET. She coordinates many aspects of FACET's programs, events, communications, and publications.
Karissa received her bachelor's degree in journalism, with a concentration in public relations, from IUPUI in 2016. She then worked as programs assistant for a non-profit organization in Indianapolis, where she had previously completed a marketing internship. In her spare time, she enjoys boating, hiking, and spending time with her husband and pets.
