The FACET Event Travel Grant provides financial support for FACET members to attend FACET-sponsored and FACET co-sponsored events, including the Annual Retreat and FALCON. This program helps reduce financial barriers to participation and encourages professional development, collaboration, and engagement across the FACET community.
Awards of up to $200 are available for eligible travel expenses. Applications are reviewed by the FACET Executive Committee, and funding is subject to availability.
Applications Deadlines
Submissions are reviewed and awards are made twice each year. Late or incomplete applications will not be considered.
Fall Deadline: September 15
For travel completed before the end of January of the following year.
Spring Deadline: December 15
For travel completed before the start of the next academic year.
Application Requirements
- Event information, including dates and location.
- A brief statement describing the importance of attending the event and how participation will benefit their professional development.
- An estimated budget of anticipated expenses.
- Information about any additional sources of funding supporting the travel.
